Evangelion 3.0+1.0 4.0 News update AnnoHideaki Anno may have news for Evangelion 4.0 (3.0 + 1.0) movie with his Studio Khara exhibit in Tokyo to celebrate a 10 year anniversary.Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of the most iconic Anime titles in history. Hideaki Anno founded his own Anime studio in order to produce the latest on going series of Evangelion Remake animated movies which released chronologically from 2007 with Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone, on 2009 with Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance, and on 2012 with Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo in 2012. The last and final entry, Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 is yet to be announced after four years of waiting.

Hideaki Anno was reported in 2014 to have put the production of the final installment of Evangelion on hold as he was involved in the making of the next Japanese Godzilla movie released this year in July called Godzilla: Resurgence.

But with his Studio Khara holding a week long exhibition in Jarajuku’s Laforet Museum this coming November 23 to celebrate their 10th Anniversary, the event is said to showcase production materials from the Evangelion films and Japan Animator Expo. Perhaps this would be the time when fans who have long awaited for news of the long overdue sequel can hear from the man himself as to when or if he even has any plans any more to release Evangelion 4.0? We’re not holding our breath but we can still hope at least.

The studio recently announced it will expand its other projects, such as their short “The Dragon Dentist” from the Japan Animator Expo net series into its first television special. Hideaki Anno was quoted in a statement saying:

Thanks to everyone and the fans for your support, we were able to continue to maintain the growth our company over the 10 years.
10 years went by like a blink of an eye but we’ve come a long way.

**(The history of color is still 10 years. I think the way to go is long lasting.)??
In the future, we will continue to make interesting projects, and want to continue to be a company that can help the animation society we believes affects everyone.
All employees in this studio are willing to further their daily devotion. Thank you.
