Move over Chris Tucker, if Rush Hour 4 was ever going to be made, it would seem Jackie has opted for Johnny Knoxville, the star of MTV’s Jackass movies to be his new bumbling American partner in action.
So it would seem Jackie Chan fans didn’t need to worry about the legendary actor retiring anytime soon of old age. This new trailer of his latest movie, Skiptrace, coming out soon to theaters in the US on September 2016, shows the staple action-comedy style of films as the Rush Hour series.
Jackie once again plays as an elite Hong Kong police man (Detective) who rescues Johnny Knoxville’s obnoxious American character as they both run, kick, and shoot their way through a horde of goons from a big mysterious crime syndicate.
All of this are nothing new to long time Jackie Chan fans, but regardless of the same predictable formula he goes about writing his movies, everybody going to a Jackie Chan movie already knows they are in for a fun bumpy ride.
Why? Because his movies are like rollercoasters, you don’t have to be surprised at what twists and turns lay before you in order to enjoy them. And it looks like Skiptrace is a movie people are looking forward to seeing, if the YouTube trailer is any indication as it has climbed nearly 4 million views in just two weeks of its upload.
