Not everyone in Japan is a fan of Anime, but it seems the Prime Minister of Japan is planning to attend Hatsune Miku's virtual idol concert in Paris this year.Not everyone in Japan is a fan of Anime, but it seems the Prime Minister of Japan is planning to attend Hatsune Miku's virtual idol concert in Paris this year.By now it should be common sense not to assume every person in Japan is an Anime fan, even if a whole lot of them happen to be. But in case of Vocaloids, Japan’s Prime Minister Abe has expressed his excitement during one of his meetings to watch Hatsune Miku’s upcoming concert being held overseas at the third Japonismes Integrated Promotion Conference in Paris, France.

Prime Minister Abe stated his pride at how much this virtual entertainment product of Japan has achieved so much influence around the world and look forward to the virtual idol’s upcoming concerts in Europe.

The Japonismes 2018 Exhibition is a convention run by both French and Japanese organizers to showcase Japanese culture in France. The Expo will be including a performance of the Tōken Ranbu and Sailor Moon musicals and Hatsune Miku Expo.

This will be Miku’s first live concert in Europe with three other events planned so far which will follow into Germany and the UK.

Prime Minister Abe has commented publicly before of how much Japan’s anime and manga has helped to spread a positive awareness of Japanese Culture around the world.
